This is because currently most people have access to the internet and use it. The webpage will provide an option for reviews. Additionally, I will use social media such as Facebook and twitter to reach may target audience. Moreover, I will write blogs about the books contents and post on various sites and the web page too. Lastly, I will avail myself for television and radio interviews, giving brief description about the book. Competition I have searched various book stores and internet and I have discovered that there are a number of published and unpublished books on child abuse and neglect. For example child abuse towards a knowledge base by Brian Corby focuses and draws from the range of sources of studies and theories in a number of academic and professional disciplines such as history, medicine, social policy, psychology, philosophy and sociology. In the book, the author examines how historically, there have been different understandings and constructions of what entails child abuse and childhood. The third and fourth chapter of the book focuses on the recent history pertaining to child protection practice and policy. The author provides detailed information on how political and social forces have changed ways in which child abuse is currently tackled. In chapter 5 of the book, the author considers the issue of child neglect and abuse definitions and the impact of every definition on research, practice and policy. In chapter 6, the author explores prevalence and incidence of child neglect and abuse. The author further researches on individuals who are likely to abuse or neglect children and in what circumstances. Hence, the book is important for individuals who not only want to access but also make decisions on child abuse and neglect cases. The book child abuse written by Clark, Robin E, Judith F. Clark, and Christine A. Adamec is another publication that my book is likely to face competition from. In the encyclopedia of child abuse, the authors reflect the various struggles to not only define and prevent but also treat the problem and eliminate it from the society. The entries in the book are a reflection of different disciplines such as education, history, medicine, law, psychology and economics among others which contributes to understanding of child abuse and neglect in the modern society. Despite, the author presenting the issue of child abuse from international perspective, it is evident that statistical information is drawn from U.S. the authors further researches on various forms of child abuse and neglect in the society. Child Abuse and Neglect: Cross-cultural Perspectives by Korbin, Jill is another publication on child abuse and neglect. The rest of the chapters summaries and collectively brings ideas based on child abuse and neglect (Larsen, 2011). The book also has various recommendations and acknowledgements. Penguin Random House is recommended for the publication of this book. Random house Australia is a reputable firm for non-fiction, fiction as well as illustrated as well as children’s books. The firm is an award winning publisher with an international reputation. This an advantage because my book can easily penetrate the international market as it has branches in various countries such as India, new Zealand, Canada, UK and Australia. Additionally, it will reach a majority of the target groups because the publisher distributes most of its books to the local bookshops (Maeda, 2012). Penguin Random House is cost effective compared to other existing publishers. This will enable me to easily raise the funds and successfully launch the book and also sell the book at an affordable price. The book is copyrighted by the publisher. Therefore, the contents of the book will not be distorted or distributed without my permission or the distributor’s permission. I will deliver my book to the Penguin Random House and looking forward to their quick response based on my framework (Germano, 2008). I have hopes that the target group will purchase and read my book Child abuse and neglect whereby they will have a clear understanding of the nature, causes, and consequences of child abuse and neglect. Furthermore, they will also understand the cultural issues associated with child abuse and neglect and various prevention strategies. References Germano, W. P. (2008).
