Plato feels that human beings have ideas rooted in them; it takes some reminders to trigger the souls into executing the idea. Through his idea of rational souls, Plato believes that an un-rational behavior comes in play as a result of corruption of the mind. He further emphasized that the world itself had departed from factual decisions; resulting into un-rational behaviors. The basis of individual behavior depends on the individual past experiences, cognitive reasons, age, and personal variations, the idea relating to personal significance and increased levels of responsibilities influence how individuals act.

The situation one appears in when deliberating on an act affects the results of the individual’s decisions (Roberto, 165). . Other parents might decide to take the daughter to the hospital to terminate the pregnancy. Better still other parents might decide to chase the girl (Roberto, 205). A thoughtful analysis of the results of your experiment The decision procured by different parents differs due to various reasoning such as; religion, the economic conditions different parents are experiencing, and the human nature that strives in different individuals.

In such a situation the normal verdict that came to most individuals, involves keeping the baby and attending school. The individual in such a situation requires some support and counseling and not neglect. Parents, in such a situation, need to take the time to examine the benefit and demerits of their decisions and the long-standing impacts of the actions. This enables the individual parents make reasonable decisions ones that they will not regret in the future. The parent in the situations emotions appears distorted; they appear confused with the situation (Roberto, 218).

I have thought about the situation since it relates to many cases taking place in the society today. Teenagers are engaging in unprotected sex, and some even end up taking the decision into their own hands for fear of what the parents may think, or their reaction towards such incidents. The individual ends up procuring abortion. These actions end up damaging the individuals physically and emotionally. There exists other friendlier option to the situations that enable individuals learn their lessons the hard way, yet they prefer the short cut which ensures that such actions recur (Roberto, 245).

A discussion of what your results mean and what they tell us about how people make decisions
Most of the time, parents appear as the main reason that individuals chose some decisions in their lives. In society, today, teenagers opt to deal with drugs and engage in other immoral activities significantly fueled by the treatment they receive from their homes. This shows that the decisions the teenagers make in the situation consist of an underlying pressure that pushes them to give in to the practices they engage in. Although, this situation does not justify such unreasonable behaviors; individuals especially teenagers should always take their time to analyze the situation listing down the merits and disadvantages associated with making such decisions. From this point, the teenagers know the situation they are subject to, and the repercussions of such activities (Roberto, 280).

Future studies that could further our understanding of Decision Making
Different theorists try to use different methods to explain the validity of their theories. Bernoulli, for example, applied the use of events instead of the individual. His intention, as he asserts that mathematics empowers individuals; this model allows individuals to calculate his/her chances of achieving a certain goal especially in bets. The choice that enables one to succeed or lose in this life significantly depends on their ability to reason out the repercussions of their actions. Future studies to help individuals understand the process of decision-making focus on clarifying the use of a cognitive system. The limitation of the system becomes vague when they mingle and disable an individual’s ability to procure consistent decisions (Roberto, 285).
