Extract of sample "On the Genelogy of Morals by Nietzsche"

The book is paradoxical in nature because it also serves to be filled with a lot of hope and expectation. Nietzsche feels that by getting to read about our past, we would have different views when reading “the Dionysian drama of the fate of the soul”. According to Nietzsche the term ‘drama’ was not concerned with ‘action’ but with events that have been suffered and endured. In speaking about conscience, Nietzsche states that if a person possesses a bad conscience, it should be considered a catastrophe or bad fate.

Appealing to “the man of the future” in GM II, Nietzsche hopes to redeem humanity from the bondage of Nihilism. In the GM III section of the book, he paves the way for the “will to truth” telling us that when we become conscious that it is a problem, it would lead us to destroy Christian morality in a show of drama, but eventually, this would lead us on the path of “the one most rich in hope”.
