Question Improvisation movement is spontaneously creating movements while dancing, freeing the body from habitual movement patterns. Contrary, creative movements are structured actions that uses body movements to communicate an image, idea or feeling. These movements are different in the sense that the improvisation movement is mostly unstructured and impulsive from environment of the dancer. However, creative movements are structured and technical. They enhance development, concentration and can be used to teach children with special needs.

A movement specialist can employ both types of movements to teach how to move one’s body. Creative movements would work for children under twelve years of age who are learning and discovering their strengths while improvision can be used in teens and adults who are aware of their interests. The specialist should expect the dancers to be more fit, better concentration and sensory awareness.Question 2: The dancer, choreographer and the audience member are all equal parties in the event since they all complement each other.

This is because the choreographer demonstrates certain traits that the dancer learns through continuous training, in order to improve his performance. Great artists in that time were Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Madonna and the likes. These dances showed a lot of dissatisfaction in the society and the social vices. Social dances are headed in the right direction as more artists are using dance to communicate to the society.Question 6: World concert dance is that dance that is used mostly in performance concerts while folk dance is a traditional dance that is done at community level to signify a certain occasion like wedding, childbirth and so forth.

They are different since concert dance is formal and structured while folk dance is not formal and not structured. It does not change from time to time as compared to concert dance.Question 7: A dance concert begins with the planning process where all the parties plan on the time, venue and resources of the concert. The choreographer takes his part to polish on the dance moves as the dancer masters the styles and formations keenly.
