It is imperative that the mangers ensure that there are adequate resources in running their organization to attain its objectives (Witcher & Chau, 2010). For this reason, the management personnel should device means and ways on how it can acquire resources. Inadequacy of resources hampers the daily business operations leading to improper planning and failure of projects (Witcher & Chau, 2010). The unavailability of enough resources to California Hospital Medical Center may lead to poor planning and failure of projects which may lead to poor service delivery to its clients.

The fact that many of the patients cannot cater for their bills implies that the hospital will depend on external funding to support its daily operations. The inadequate resources will lead to low or delayed pay to its employees and lack of enough facilities which will result to inefficiency (Witcher & Chau, 2010). Low or delayed pay to California Hospital Medical Center employees may prompt lack of motivation among the staff members and low productivity which in turn increases the propensity of the employees to leave the organization (Lauby, 2005).

The management may need to outsource for more funding from donors and start up investments which may bring some income to the organization. In most instances, decisions on the implementation of plans in a competitive business environment must be made at a faster rate. In some cases, it is significant to deliberate on the decision for a while to ensure that it favors the bottom line other than jeopardize it. However, involving parties with different objectives and goals may not only affect the decision making process but also hinder the implementation of the plans (Witcher & Chau, 2010).

The involvement of other hospitals and organizations puts California Hospital Medical Center’s decision making process and adoption of plans at jeopardy. This is because it will take time before the organizations can concur on certain matters resulting to delayed projects. People are integral parts of an organization (Bohlande & Snell, 2011). The ability of an organization to succeed in its goals depends on how well it can identify the various activities that must be performed by the individuals selected to perform them.

Before an organization can absorb people to perform tasks, it is imperative to carry out a job analysis. A job analysis refers to observing and examining a job to identify the appropriate substance and responsibilities (Bohlande & Snell, 2011). In addition, an organization needs to carry out a job description which details the job itself and should include job detail and location, job summary to give the prospective employee a quick, but concise explanation of the job content, and comprehensive listing job duties.

The failure by California Hospital Medical Center Human resource department to describe the tasks and responsibilities to be performed by the volunteers has caused considerable confusion, lack of order in the way tasks should be performed, and made people feel as though they do not know what is anticipated from them.
