Virtual Meetings vs. Live Events Task Introduction Virtual meetings are interactions that take place over the internet using incorporated visual and audio, computer chatting facilities and sharing request among affiliates. It provides various ways that organization members can interact, and discuss various issues by integrating the management system with staff members that unite them over online meetings. Meanwhile, live events take place where the members interact after agreeing on sustaining on focusing the time conversation and maintaining close contact with group members.

Conversely, live events allow expression of emotions, easy coordination of activities and timing among the members in case there is a need of persuasion circumstances. To understand both situations it is convenient to analyze the two types of meetings by comparing and contrasting their features and gains. Live event meetings will be vital in the circumstance where members want to engage in discussion, and observe verbal and non-verbal communication style not expressed via computer communication technologies.

The hand gestures, the tone, volume, and the mutual feelings of the members are expressed in the live event that is not possible in virtual meetings facilities such as videoconferencing. The live event will be crucial in meeting because it will bring human contact among members, and it is a primitive necessity significant to human beings because it brings socialization among members. In case of virtual, there is lack of primitive psychological necessity among the members. Live event meetings allow participants opportunities to augment the significant exchange communication among the members.

These communication exchange skills include business negotiation proficiency and understanding that is unavoidable in the efficacy of the company. These social exchange skills are unworkable through computer communication because of the personal and the informal traits. Live events will allow the members learn to trust each other, and there would be intelligibility. Trust is a vital part of any meeting, and this cannot be achieved via computer advances. Conversely, having virtual meetings will be vital because, via web conferencing, the members are able to collaborate on the subject present the views about the organization without any physical contact.

According to Heiphetz and Woodill (2009), the virtual meeting is significant to long distance members who enable presentation of new ideas via the computer-based advances that will not be possible in the live event meeting in, a situation where members live in long distances. The virtual meeting will be indispensable owing to its efficacy and handiness, due to advanced expertise that make the communication between members faster. Although the virtual meeting will not bring human contact as the case of live meeting, it still allows members to socialize using web-based advances.

The virtual meetings will manage the time of the members because there are few meetings disruptions like in the live event meeting caused by misapprehensions and lateness. Conclusion In a virtual meeting, the deliberations are well prepared and habitually characterized by clarity; hence, captivating to the addressees. However, in live event, it is hard for members to formulate a final decision owing to lack of coordination mainly because of tediousness. Both live event and virtual meeting are indispensable, but it will depend on the agreement of the members.

If all members have a rational access of the computer-based advances and other factors analyzed well, the virtual meetings will be effectual, but if the facilities are not available or advanced for meeting, the members can use live event meetings.
